Welcome to Swingin' West, the radio show that spotlights vintage and contemporary Western Swing music and related sounds.

Mike Gross, of Manchester CT, is the producer and host of the show that started back in February of 1980.

Awards and Honors! Mike will be inducted into the Western Swing Music Society of the Southwest on July 19, 2008. Mike was also inducted into the Western Swing Music Society of Kansas Hall of Fame in June 2005 and the Western Swing Society of Sacramento Hall of Fame on October 10, 2004. Mike was also inducted into the Seattle Pioneers Of Western Swing Hall of Fame in 2002 and was the Academy of Western Artists DJ Of The Year in 2000. Mike again was MC and DJ for Leon Rausch, Tommy Allsup, Bobby Koefer, Curly Hollingsworth and Bob Wills' Texas Playboys at Lincoln Center in New York City on Friday evening June 29, 2007 at 6:30PM. Check out the photo album for pictures.

Mike was interviewed and featured throughout in a 2004 documentary movie on the life of Western Swing legend Adolph Hofner.
